Practice Areas

Hovering over medical terms provides a pop-up definition of that term.

Our experienced team of cardiologists all share similar medical backgrounds and a dedication to providing compassionate patient care. Yet each brings a specific area of expertise to the practice, enabling us to treat patients with a full range of cardiovascular issues.

Our practice areas include:

  • Diagnostic Testing
We can run a full range of diagnostic tests—from echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, Holter monitoring, pacemaker interrogation, nuclear stress testing and echocardiographic stress testing to cardiac catheterization (balloon angioplasty, stent placement, ablation, thrombectomy). After all, we can’t treat it until we know what “it” is.
  • Follow Up and Maintenance
A combination of continual testing and check-ups, healthy lifestyle modification, and medication are the most effective steps to maintain a healthy heart.  Sometimes the disease is complex and needs careful monitoring, so you will be cared for by our entire team.
  • Internal Medicine
Internal medicine deals with the diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of internal organs and body systems. Internists focus on the entire body of the patient and are specially-trained to recognize and manage a broad range of diseases.
  • Prevention
Our goal is to keep you out of the hospital, so we proactively address cardiac issues and risk factors before they become a problem, and help patients with heart disease to improve their condition.
  • Treatment
Based on your test results, your doctor will personally discuss a customized treatment program that can include a combination of lifestyle modifications, medication, and minimally-invasive procedures such as balloon angioplasty or stent placement.
  • Women’s Heart Health
One of three women in theU.S. will die of heart disease—but it’s also the single most preventable cause of death in women. And we’re here to help.
