Who We Are
Hovering over medical terms provides a pop-up definition of that term.
Founded in 1979 as Ramapo Cardiologists (and later renamed Hudson Heart Associates), ColumbiaDoctors of the Hudson Valley (CDHV) provides comprehensive cardiovascular services, with a focus on prevention, diagnostic testing, and treatment. We manage all areas of cardiovascular disease and have a special expertise in women’s heart health issues and in treating our aging population.
We are excited to announce the expansion of our practice to include general internal medicine. We are committed to excellence in care and acknowledge there are times when a patient needs more than a cardiologist to orchestrate their healthcare needs. With the addition of our general medical practice, we will continue our commitment to provide expert medical care.
Our team of cardiologists each brings a diversity of clinical experience to the practice and work closely with our experienced internists and nursing staff to ensure that our patients receive exceptional and compassionate care at every stage of their treatment.
Our affiliation with the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center provides our patients access to the vast resources, leading-edge surgery techniques, and ground-breaking research trials of one of the nation’s top heart care hospitals. For patients who prefer to be treated closer to home, we have referral privileges at standout local facilities in the Hudson Valley.
We continually enhance our services with the latest non-invasive imaging technology, such echocardiography and all forms of stress testing, including nuclear imaging (CT Angiogram, Heart Scan / Coronary Calcium Scan) when appropriate. Our goal is to create recognized Centers of Excellence where internal medicine and healthy lifestyle specialists can treat the entire patient to achieve better heart health.
With offices in Suffern and Monroe, we provide exceptional cardiac care to the residents of Rockland and Orange Counties. Look for our location in Nyack opening in the fall!
